Welcome to the Del Norte County Office of Education.

The Office of the Superintendent serves as a vital partner to our schools, districts, families, and community. Our mission is to provide leadership, resources, and oversight that ensure every student in Del Norte County has access to high-quality educational opportunities.

Through the County Office, we oversee and support programs in special education, alternative education, career and college readiness, early learning, and student wellness. We also provide fiscal and regulatory oversight for local districts, ensuring that resources are used responsibly and that schools remain compliant with state and federal requirements.

Equally important, the County Office works to strengthen the capacity of educators through professional learning, collaboration, and access to innovative practices. By connecting schools with the tools and partnerships they need, we help create safe, inclusive, and effective learning environments for all students.
