Rural Professional Learning Network (RPLN)
For the past few years, the Del Norte County Office of Education has been involved in a project, along with the Humboldt County Office of Education, that offers grants to rural schools and school district programs that are mean to have a significant impact on the lives of students, staff, and families.
During the school year, 2023/24, Del Norte COE took the lead role in managing this program. With (grant) support from the Cowell Foundation, and the guidance of Education Consultant, Nicodemus Ford and the support of our leadership of our Education Services Department, RPLN is able to offer mini grants of up to ($3,000) for schools to develop programs that can demonstrate positive change at a school.
